Before anyone saw a figure, Ebbelstein Antriebstechnik GmbH's works council asked what Quorum would never show.
Ebbelstein Antriebstechnik GmbH builds gearboxes and drive systems in Heilbronn. Its works council had one question before any rollout: what will this never show? This example is the answer, computed — what is excluded, what is withheld and what each person sees about their own week.

- Work model

- Tools
- Google Workspace and Slack
The situation
145 people in development, sales, service, production and administration, working in German and in euros. Google Workspace calendars and Slack threads are connected.
HR meetings carried German titles — annual reviews, interviews, salary talks — and had been stored with their invitees before Quorum's German patterns existed.
What they set up
- The works council pack and the methodology, walked through with the works council before anything was connected.
- Google Workspace calendars and Slack threads, read-only and counted, never read for text.
- My week switched on for members, so each person can see their own week and nobody else's.
What Quorum showed
Quorum read the workspace as balanced — 7.0 meeting hours per person per week beside an active written channel — so the Overview kept meetings first with threads right beside them. The reading changes the order and the headlines, never a figure: a reader who scrolls finds the same numbers whatever leads.
Computed by Quorum on the example workspace modelled on Ebbelstein Antriebstechnik GmbH.
Meeting cost is measured and thread cost is modelled. Quorum shows them side by side and never adds them together.
- HR meetings excluded after the factCount
- 61The stored-meeting review excluded every one of them (0 still visible) and left 0 participants and 0 attendance records on excluded meetings.
- Private meetings, last 30 daysCount
- 22Kept only as private shells: no title, participants, attendance, cost or AI — their time counts, and nothing else.
- Private busy blocksCount
- 147A person's start and end only, counted as time in team load and in that person's own My week — never per person to anyone else, and never in money.
- Teams withheld for sizeCount
- 5Teams under 3 people get no per-person rate, score or load band; 16 teams were scored.
- Places with a published response timeMeasured
- 320 withheld under the floors of 5 conversations and 3 people.
What they changed
Brief the works council
The administrator took the works council through the works council pack and the methodology: no per-person score, no ranking, no message text and no bot in calls.
Hold the floors
3 people for any team figure; 5 conversations and 3 people for a response time; 4 people before My week compares anyone with their team.
Give each person their own week
Members sign in to their own week and nothing else: their hours, focus and private time as time, with no grade, rank or colleague in it. Money stays off My week in this workspace.
Keep excluding at ingestion
A new German HR title is judged when it arrives and stored as a shell, with only its time kept.
The result
With the floors written down and every figure team-level or a count, the works council agreed to the rollout. Every works council decides for itself; what Ebbelstein Antriebstechnik GmbH's could check was that the screens an administrator and a manager see hold nothing the floors forbid, and that the HR meetings stored before the German patterns existed were excluded after the fact.

How these figures were made
The workspace behind Ebbelstein Antriebstechnik GmbH was generated by Quorum's archetype harness — the synthetic companies the product is tested against — shaped to match the company's size, departments and tools, and seeded on Oct 11, 2026. Every figure on this page was then computed by Quorum's own analysis on that data and is read from a file this page cannot change. What the people in the example did — who answered, which changes they made, the settings their administrators chose — is part of the example and is stated where it matters.
An example is not a customer result, a benchmark or a forecast for your organization.
